Introduction to the Centre
The Adult Education department at Minsthorpe Community College is situated in the new Post 16 and Adult Education building at the side of the main car park, and is easily accessible to all. We are close to all major roads and only half a mile from 2 railway stations and South Elmsall bus station.
We have our own purpose built Beauty training suite, where both Adult and Post 16 students study Level 2 beauty therapy, Nail technology and Sports massage daytime and evenings, we also offer a range of other alternative treatments. The suite is open as a working salon on a daily basis offering cut-price treatments to the general public.
Our other courses include, IT, Keep Fit, Yoga, Stress Management and ESOL, we offer limited subsidised creche places for students and free courses for students on certain means tested benefits. For more information please ring 01977 609 228 or visit our web site.
On site we also have a Children's Centre, Training & Conference Centre and Sports & Fitness Centre.
Our office opening times are Monday to Thursday 8.15am-4.00pm, and Fridays 8.15am-3.00pm. We also open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, times may vary.
