The Centre is a true reflection of the commitment and equal opportunity affordable to all the citizens of Wakefield by the council and relevant departments from within. An atmosphere of learning has been created where hard to reach and venerable communities have been given an opportunity to access education and learn about many other services that are provided throughout the district. The Centre provides a warm, welcoming and above all a safe learning environment for all residents. The Centre has helped to bond many of the local groups and communities at a time when global decisions are making this process increasingly difficult. The continued success has been maintained through religious respect and tolerance. The Islamic ethos has been observed in all aspects of the partnership.
The venue is fully equipped with the latest IT equipment and opened to the public as a fully inclusive Centre where a strict equal opportunities policy is adhered. Disabled facilities were added to the centre in April 2004.
The course programme has taken shape and is fully involved in delivering the needs of the local community.
