Carleton High School's community comprises a well-balanced social-economic mix, drawing from a variety of council and private developments.
The Centre is housed in modern buildings on an attractive 35 acre site, approximately 1 mile from the A1 and 1.5 miles from the A1/M62 interchange.
The Centre has approximately 300 adult learners enrolled for the year 2004/5 and currently offers 17 courses over 2 evenings per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
